Mounting scotty downrigger on 2022 crestliner vision DS 1700

I just picked up a 2022 Crestliner Vision DS 1700 and I'm mounting a Scotty downrigger on the port-side gunnel rail. I've got the bracket, but I'm stuck on wiring. How did you run the electrical outlet, rear deck or under the seat?

I ran mine under the portside jump seat and tapped into the accessory circuit with an inline fuse for extra peace of mind. Rear deck could work too but I wanted quick access without tearing up panels. Are you going straight to the battery or trying to keep it tied into the dash switch setup?

For wiring a scotty downrigger on the port gunnel rail, running the electrical outlet under the seat is the cleaner option, it keeps wires protected and out of sight, from there, route cables along the gunnel with zip ties and seal any holes drilled to prevent water intrusion
