Fuel gauge stuck on full

My fuel gauge has been stuck on full since I bought my 2009 1600 fish hawk last year. I haven’t checked for an electrical problem yet but if it’s a mechanical issue how do I get to the sending unit? It looks like a lot of removal work would have to be done just to get to the fuel tank.

Just curious if you were able to access the fuel tank? I have a 2001 Sportfish that has a gas leak and I have not been able to find any access point or even the gas tank itself, and I agree it looks like a lot of removal work! FYI I was just gifted this boat.

I’m not sure if my reply from yesterday made it to you but no I haven’t found the tank access yet. I just got the boat out of storage and haven’t started working on it yet.
