Next boat on my list

I'm planning to upgrade my old flat-bottom next year and am deciding between a Kodiak 16 or Fishhawk 1600. I am heavily leaning toward the 1600 since it's bigger and has more storage. Has anyone used the new models? I'd love to hear what you think.

I get why that's appealing, the Fishhawk 1600 definitely stands out with its added size and storage capabilities. I haven't had the chance to try out the new models myself, but the bigger hull and increased tank capacity seem like a significant improvement that's definitely worth checking out.

That's exactly why I'm leaning toward the 1600, more storage and a bigger hull make longer trips easier. I'll probably check them out in person before deciding

Exactly, that's what's attracting me too. The extra storage and open deck make a big difference for longer trips and group fishing
