I do sailing and of course I pack gas for me in case I run out. I don't wanna go drifting into the scariest parts lol. Anyway, I seem to be struggling filling the boat with gas from the can. It just doesn't go in, like there's some sort of vapor lock! My gas doesn't go into the tank.

probably fuel system issues, try adjusting the angle of the gas can or giving the nozzle a little wiggle cos sometimes the fuel cap vent can get clogged too, so check that. You could also try using a funnel to avoid spillage. Hopefully, it's just a small issue that's easy to fix

Seems to me like a vapor lock issue. Maybe try cracking the vent on the tank or loosing the cap filler a little bit when you pour since that's gonna help air escape so gas can flow. Also try @the zipliner's suggestion over here on the funnel.

Sounds like a vapor lock indeed. Opening up the vent or loosening the filler cap should do the trick. Also, why not try @thezipliner's funnel tip? It could really help out.
