1960 Evinrude Lark II

Over the past couple weeks, I had been revamping my 1960 Crestliner Voyager and so far, so good. It's almost finished, just this final touch. I'm thinking of mounting this 1960 Evinrude Lark II on it but I'm not sure how to do just that. For those with experience, what do I do with the junction box for the motor? Does it have to be insulated or is it alright to touch with the aluminum? I'm thinking that might be dangerous, but I have no experience on this bit yet. If you guys can give some thoughts, that would be spectacular.

Yeah, don't let that junction box touch the bare aluminum especially if you havent done anything like this just yet. It could cause some grounding issues or even fry something up. You can throw some rubber spacers or a non metal plate under it just to be safe. Old rigs like that can be tricky , so better to avoid any surprises.

Sweeeet set-up! Agree with @young1 over here, definitely don't let the junction box touch the bare aluminum because it's gonna lead to stray current or corrosion headaches later on. Add rubber grommets or mount it on a block, maybe?
