I've been working on a 2016 Superhawk 1850 as a gift for my older brother but I'm a little surprised it didn't come with an onboard charger despite having three batteries. Imagine that. Now, what I've been envisioning is to mount the charger in the center locker, but routing wires has been tricky with all the aluminum and no access under the consoles. Has anyone done this setup and figured out a rather organized way to let the wiring go through between the compartments?

Mounting it in the center locker makes sense yeah, but wiring can be tricky with all the aluminum and tight spaces. Some folks i know route wires through existing grommets or drill small access holes in hidden spots, then use marine grade conduit or cable sleeves to keep things neat and protected. Using zip ties and planning the path carefully helps keep the setup clean and organized

What I saw my uncle do was carefully drill some small access holes in less visible spots, then used flexible conduit or split loom to keep everything neat and protected

Most guys will use existing rigging tubes or pull new conduit along the gunwales to keep it clean, sometimes even drilling small grommeted pass throughs between lockers
